New FSLogix Update v26.01: Stability and Reliability Improvements

This latest FSLogix release focuses on stability, reliability, and operational fixes rather than introducing new features. While there are no functional changes, the updates address several important issues that can impact user experience, profile management, and administrative visibility in Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 environments.

  • Resolved a potential logon hang scenario where a user profile failed to unload within a short timeout window (less than 30 seconds).
  • Fixed an issue where a disk might not detach correctly after a VHD compact operation.

💾 VHD & Storage Operations

  • Corrected the extended status reporting for the “Supported Size” attribute during VHD compact operations.
  • Improved overall reliability of disk management and clean up processes.

📧 Application & Package Handling

  • Updated default redirections for Outlook for Windows, improving compatibility and consistency.
  • Fixed an issue where package registration could fail due to a missing authentication context.
